English Intensive Course in Malta
An Intensive English Course at Sprachcaffe Malta is the ideal choice for those who are ready to spend a bit more time to get quicker and more in-depth results in learning English.
If you wish to improve your level of English quickly, then look no further and book an intensive course in Malta. The additional lessons give one the opportunity to gain more practice in using the language while still having time for afternoon leisure activities.
The first four lessons of each day are the same as the Standard English Course and therefore focus on integrated skills work using our main course book, English File Third Edition. The last two lessons of each day use no set course book and can vary in their focus but most common themes are listening & speaking and extension of areas covered in the morning lessons.

Timetable
The intensive course timetable focuses on academic time during the morning, so our students have the rest of the day at their leisure to plan their personal excursions in and around St. Julian's. We offer 3 lessons per day with 3 hours (180mins) duration each day which results in 20 lessons per week (15 hours)
Course material for the intensive course
Our main course book, English File Third Edition, allows students to learn the language using real-life contexts with lively, interesting reading and listening texts, challenging activities and periodic evaluations so they can see and measure their progress. Each level is designed to take 16 weeks to complete as during that time a student can cover the entire syllabus of the level and should then automatically advance to the following level, provided their attendance is 80% or above.
Students must purchase a course book upon their arrival. Students staying less than 4 weeks can return their book and get a refund.
Sprachcaffe Certificate
Every participant receives a certificate at the end of the language course. You can use this to prove your newly-acquired English language skills.
The Sprachcaffe certificate always refers to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). There you will find all the information necessary for international comparability.
Our Placement Test
Not sure what level of English you currently stand at ? Do not worry, we at Sprachcaffe offer you an online placement test before we put the study groups together. The placement test allows us to group students with a similar language level together. We also offer an online language test for you to assess your language level independently.
